This is the 29 tooth overdrive that is used on early models CJ, Pick Up Truck, Station Wagon and Sedan Delivery Models up to 1954. This overdrive bolts on the back of the transfer case in the PTO hole. This over drive has a separate shifter that you shift in and out that is fully syncronized. The overdrive can be used in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and reverse as well as 2WD high, 4WD low and 4WD high. This makes a gear in between each gear which is nice for climbing hills and or other off road obsticles. This overdrive will reduce your RPMs in 3rd gear by 25% making the Jeep easier to drive in todays conditions. Included is the overdrive, shifter assembly, directions and a 1 Year warranty and its made in the USA. NOTE: You must count the gear on the back of the transfer case behind the tin plate with 5 bolts before ordering. This does not fit MB and GPW models.
